SIPTRUNK offers outbound calling options to Alaska and Hawaii in addition to most international destinations. However, these calls are charged differently than domestic calls to the US and Canada. Per-minute rates apply to Alaska, Hawaii, and international destinations and rates are subject to change. SIPTRUNK publishes current pricing via the customer portal and the rates can be viewed at any time.
Find current rates for calling these destinations in the Customer Portal by hovering over the “SIP Trunking” tab and choosing the “International Calling” submenu option. Next, click on the text “View International Rates” to expand a table with every country and rates to the different area codes.
NOTE: Rates are subject to change and the rates in the image above are just for demonstration.
Once you know the rate of the destination you want to dial to, you will need to ensure the SIP trunk Term Rate Plan matches matches the destination group. You will also need to ensure the number you plan to call does not exceed the maximum per-minute call cost set on the SIP trunk.
